Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy from Your Full Name, a sole trader based at your address. Rival Brief is a product I sell. I sell to businesses only: by ordering, you confirm you’re buying for a business.
What you get
Watch: a short email each morning, from the morning after you pay until 31 December 2026, covering up to five rival shops: new products, price changes, discounts starting and ending, items selling out and banner changes. Pro: Watch plus rivals’ newsletters summarised, act-today suggestions with ready-to-send copy, a Black Friday price check, a benchmark report and a 10-email Black Friday campaign written for your shop. Rival Report: a one-off Google Doc comparing your shop with up to five rivals, delivered within 24 hours of payment.
How it’s made
The information comes from rivals’ public websites and, on Pro, the newsletters they send to subscribers. Summaries and suggested copy are written with AI (Anthropic’s Claude) using only that information. Websites change and can block reading, so I can’t promise every change will be caught. If a rival can’t be read, I’ll tell you and suggest another.
Your rivals
You can name up to five rivals at checkout or by replying to any brief. If you don’t, I’ll pick the five closest by product type, price and country.
Refunds
If Watch or Pro isn’t useful, email me within 7 days of your first brief for a full refund. The Rival Report is refundable within 7 days of delivery if it isn’t useful to you.
The price check
The Black Friday price check compares the “was” prices on your website with your own recorded prices. It is not legal advice, and you remain responsible for how you price and advertise.
Using what you receive
Briefs, reports and copy are for use in your own business. You own the campaign copy written for you. Please don’t resell or republish the briefs or reports. Use them lawfully, including sending marketing only to people who agreed to receive it.
No promised results
I can’t guarantee any particular sales or other results.
Liability
My total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law doesn’t allow liability to be limited.
Payment and law
Payment is by card or digital wallet through Stripe. Prices are final: I’m not registered for VAT. These terms are governed by Irish law, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
